(Chn. 佛眼 foyan): A representation of the embodiment of the five wisdoms: the intrinsic wisdom of the dharma realms (tathata-prajna; tathata-jnana), the all-accomplishing wisdom (krty-anusthana-prajna; krty-anusthana-jnana), the mirror-like wisdom (adarsa-prajna; adarsa-jnana), the wisdom of marvelous observation (pratyaveksana-prajna; pratyaveksana-jnana), and the wisdom of equality (samata-prajna; samata-jnana). They can see all ten dharma realms, including the four sagely realms above and the six rebirth realms below. Buddha eyes encompass the other four kinds of eyes—physical, celestial, dharma, and wisdom.
